Kind words from parents, teachers and children mean the world to us. It lets us know that all the hard work really makes a difference and encourages us to be better, work harder and excel.

Hannah Wells new county record holder, coached by Go Active.

I just thought you would like to know that following on from trying archery with you and joining an archery club, Hannah entered her first ever regional archery tournament on Sunday 30 April 2017. The weather was appalling all day but this did not deter her concentration. Hannah beat her opponent by 13 points to take the title of DCAS (Devon and Cornwall Archery Society) U12 Junior champion (recurve). Smashing a Devon and Cornwall county record previously set at 357 to make her the new county record holder with a score of 514.

As a school that prides itself in providing an excellent PE curriculum and after-school provision – I was more than impressed with Matt and Adam as they have made it even better! A great variety of activities & sports, excellent organisation and always the ultimate professionals. Looking forward to do a lot more business with them

Go Active have made a huge difference to the attitudes of pupils to sport at Collingbourne since they started some 12 months ago. They are very enthusiastic, punctual and well prepared for each lesson. Overall children noticeably get excited to play sport in the school.
— Jeff Mason- Headteacher, Collingbourne Primary School
Go-Active provide sports coaching for our children both in curriculum time as PPA cover and in running an after school club. The children enjoy the ‘alternative’ sports on offer and have gained many skills and learnt a variety of new sports such as Street Surfing (a real favourite), Handball, Urban Polo and Tchoukball. The coaches are very professional, reliable and engage and encourage the children. Our PE provision has definitely flourished with the introduction of Go-Active

Go Active have truly enabled us to make SHINE’s physical activity sessions as varied as possible by delivering non-conventional activities, such as Street Surfing, Rocketball and Tchoukball (which are a real hit with the young people) The variety of sessions Go Active are able to deliver helps us keep young people engaged and ensures that they enjoy every week and look forward to returning the session after.

Mr Watson and Mr Spencer have been superb coaches; delivering both explicit PE lessons, incorporating core schools into innovative games such as rocket ball; and also with providing after school clubs from Street Surfing to football. They are great role-models to our children and always strive to achieve excellence from all children.”
— Charlotte Hill – PE co-ordinator , Sidbury Primary School, Devon
Lanner school has been delighted with the service provided by Go Active. The after school clubs have offered a great range of activities for both our KS1 and KS2 pupils. Both these clubs have been oversubscribed. The lesson provision for PPA cover has been very well received and the staff feels supported with delivery of the PE curriculum. Sports Premium very well spent!”
— Mel Haddy – Headteacher, Lanner Primary School
The Go Active coach, Adam, has worked with us during this year. His involvement in PE lessons, lunchtime supervision and after school clubs has improved the quality of our school’s sports provision significantly. We have enjoyed learning new skills in a range of alternative sports, which has encouraged previously reluctant children. Adam has taught children new games to play at playtimes as well as been a great role model (particularly for our boys), showing the children how to be respectful and polite. He has also led a very popular after school club
