Encouraging young people to explore new activities with Go Active

Go Active can support and deliver disability programmes within schools and the community for young people with SEN and/or disabilities. These sessions encourage young people to explore new activities and sports, helping individuals to gain life skills and confidence, through active participation.

Participants develop social, personal, creative and learning skills as well as benefiting from improved confidence and self esteem. We can also provide support and deliver sports clubs for adults with disabilities who are keen to carry on playing sport.

The clubs help individuals lead a healthier and more active lifestyle, as well as providing the chance to develop sporting and social skills in a relaxed and fun environment. Participants can learn how to play many different sports and develop team skills such as communication whilst learning the importance of spatial awareness.
